6100 Stenton Ave
A collective of local nonprofit organizations, including Men Who Care, We Heard You, Urgent 365, EMIR Healing Center, and Pleasant Advisory Council have re-joined forces to organize the Reviving the Village Community Giveback. This event is an opportunity for community members to learn about the collective's offerings and programs, grab bbq bites, get free groceries, and leave with a directory of organizatinos and vendors from last year's fair. There will be offerings for people of all ages including children and seniors.

Why revive the village?
With a heartbreaking spike in homicides and carjackings in Philadelphia and increased involvement of youth in these activities, our city has been crying out for help for years. At the same time, numerous organizations are working diligently to provide resources and opportunities that meet the needs of community members so they don’t have to turn to criminal activity. The issue is, there’s currently no place for residents to learn about and connect with all of the local organizations that serve them. That is, until now. The Reviving the Village Street Fair is a community gathering for all Northwest serving nonprofits and residents.
The purpose of the Northwest Edition of Reviving the Village is to connect members of our community with the organizations that exist to meet their needs. Our vision is to highlight local opportunities, provide resources, and cultivate relationships in our community to shift negative behaviors and improve positive outcomes by offering support and healthy outlets for neighbors of all ages.
